Description

 

A day long forum designed for library staff and vendors focused on electronic resources. Through individual presentations and panel discussions, vendors will showcase their latest products and updates. Issues around statistical reporting, marketing efforts and communication will be given special attention by all vendors.

Most major eResource vendors, along with a wide variety of medium and small sized vendors, are expected to attend. Library staff representatives from most major public, academic and community college across the entire state of Arizona will also be in attendance.

Breakfast, beverages and lunch will be provided and a reception will follow the day’s formal events. Attendance will be capped at 100 attendees so be sure to register soon!

Details for Vendors

  • Electronic Resource Specialists, Librarians and Administrators from dozens of libraries across the state from all library types are expected to attend.
  • Maricopa, Pima County and Yavapai County will be present.
  • Over a dozen municipalities in Maricopa Co. will be present including Phoenix Public, MCLD, Scottsdale, Mesa and Glendale
  • Arizona State, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University and Grand Canyon University are expected to be represented as well.
  • eResource staff from attending institutions will be available for in person meetings the days immediately before and after the event for in-person vendor meetings.
  • Attending vendors will get names and emails of all attendees.
  • Vendors will have a table at the back of the room for displays, fliers, etc.
  • By Friday, February 17th please email us a ready to print electronic copy of the 8 1/2 X 11 page (can be double sided) talking about your organization, products, reps, etc. This page will be included in a packet given to all attendees. Email these pages here.

Vendor Presentation Requirements

  • Demos/pitch
  • A brief live demo of stats collection working in/for a library would be appreciated. Laptop with live internet connections will be provided.
  • An electronic and printed list of contacts for attendees to reach out to post-event would be appreciated.
  • Requested to provide (if applicable) demo accounts to requesting libraries.

The Arizona Library Association invites you to sponsor our event. By contributing financially, you contribute directly to its success.

This full day event on Thursday, February 23rd in Phoenix will see eResource managers, librarians and administrators from across the entire state attending to connect with you! Nearly every academic, community college, county, and municipal library organization, as well as representatives from the Arizona State Library, will attend, ready to listen, learn and discuss your products and the future of electronic resources in libraries. We have a full day planned, and the event if nearing full capacity (126 total attendees.)

The event needs your help though! We need sponsors to pay for breakfast, lunch, beverages and our post-event reception. Thank you in advance for making time to attend and sponsor this first ever state-wide gathering of eResource professionals in Arizona.
